Recipe
American "Cheese"
1 cup
raw cashews(first powder them in a coffee grinder or processor)
4 oz
pimentos (forcolor--can substitute a carrot if you prefer)
3 tbs
nutritional yeastflakes
2 tsp
onion oronion powder
galic or garlic powderto taste
dissolve 1/3 cup Emis veg gelatin into 2 1/4 cups boiled water
Combine & liquify in processor:
Preparation Lightly oil a round or square container to put it in (makes it easier to get out later) & refrigerate.
To use for grating, freeze it. It will also melt very well if heated.
for JACK "Cheese" variation:
simply omit pimento (or carrot), & double the lemon, yeast & garlic
